If you are looking for your own private water supply, you've discovered the perfect service. We drill our own boreholes and ensure that every detail is considered and completed with customer satisfaction at the forefront of what we do.
Here in East Anglia, most premises are supplied with mains water from Anglian Water or Essex and Suffolk Water throughout Norfolk and Suffolk. Having your own water supply means you can partially or fully diminish the need to be connected to mains water (following water regulations).
Process
Preparation
Firstly, a site survey and discussion on the requirements for the intended use of the water will be carried out. With the information gathered on site, a geological survey is to be completed to determine how many meters are to be drilled approximately.
Installation
This consists of drill, line and flush of borehole.
Testing
A pump will then be temporarily installed into the borehole and will be flushed for two weeks. After two weeks, a water sample is recommended be taken and sent off to the lab for testing.
Filtration and Pump
If the water sample has been taken and tested, on the result of the analysis, filtration will be discussed to determine what filtration system will need to be installed. Dependent on the demands for the water, i.e flow rate and pressure, will determine what kind of pump will need to be installed.
Housing
Discussion on whether a manhole/shed is required for pump.
Service Plan
Once the above steps have been completed, we will draw up a service plan depending on what has been installed and needs of servicing. We are very proud to offer an excellent after care service for our customers.
